Courteney Cox is once again the center of media attention regarding her upcoming birthday bash which, according to rumors, may be doubling up as her wedding party!
That’s right folks, you read correctly, The Friends starlet seems to be dropping hint after hint that her 50th birthday party in June, which is set to take place at a lavish setting, may well include an aisle (of sorts) and some proverbial wedding bells.
An inside source told British magazine Heat some details:
“She’s throwing a big party at home in LA and it looks like it’ll be more than a birthday bash. She’s asked guests to wear white and dress smart – and has let slip that there’s going to be a BIG surprise,” the source said.
After Courteney and Johnny McDaid got together last year, rumors started flying in February that the couple may be getting married some time soon. Courteney Cox’s 9-year-old daughter Coco, from a previous marriage, is also happy enough that mom is tying the knot again :
“Coco’s going to be a bridesmaid and David has been asked to make a speech. They want to put on a united front and show that everyone’s happy,” the source continued.
On top of that, the inside source, who seems to know a whole lot about celebs, said: “Court’s friend Sheryl Crow has been asked to perform at the party and Jen Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Neve Campbell are also on the list. It’s been a whirlwind romance, but they are the perfect match. They’re so happy together.”
The same source continued to reveal that even though Courteney is 50, she still may well want more kids:
“I’m sure Courteney and Johnny will have quietly been investigating the surrogate option. She won’t want to put too much pressure on the situation, but will be realistic about the chances of it happening naturally. She wants to have one more child and to give Johnny the chance of fatherhood. ”
It remains to be seen whether the rumors of Courteney Cox getting married at her upcoming birthday party turn out to be true.
