Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane are officially single again, and coincidentally just before the 4th of July, a holiday in which we celebrate independence.
After attempting to reconcile following Arquette’s divorce filing – due to “irreconcilable differences” – in 2009, the couple has officially “un-sealed the deal,” per the finalization of their divorce Friday.
In spite of their rocky on again, off again relationship, however, Arquette and Jane aren’t ending their marriage on a bad note.
“We’re both really good. I don’t think people would even imagine that it could be so friendly and not weird,” the ex-couple shared when asked how they were handling the breakup.
The actors (Arquette in CBS’ The Medium and Jane in HBO’s Hung ), who originally tied the knot in Italy in 2006, will share joint custody of their 8-year-old daughter, Harlow.
