Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy saw a lot of his support melt away after his racist comments became public, but not his volunteer bodyguard Jayson Bullock.
The conflict between Cliven Bundy and the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has been stewing for years and came to a head when heavily armed federal agents mobilized to round up the Bundy cattle who were grazing on public lands .
In a series of interviews about the rancher’s standoff with the BLM, six-year US Army vet Bullock, an African American from Las Vegas, said that Bundy’s comments didn’t bother him at all, and that he would even take a bullet for Bundy.
Based on the oath he took to defend the US Constitution, Bullock indicated that he supports the rancher’s fight against an oppressive government, which he deemed a domestic enemy.
Said Bullock:
Mr. Bundy is not a racist. Ever since I’ve been here, he’s treated me with nothing but hospitality. He’s pretty much treating me just like his own family. I would take a bullet for that man if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather… I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy a few times, I have a really good feel about him, and I’m a pretty good judge of character.”

The national media was paying little attention to the Bundy “cattle-battle” controversy that also supposedly involves the desert tortoise until it became an opportunity to embarrass some Fox News Channel commentators who jumped on the Bundy bandwagon, but that’s another matter.
Separately, as The Inquisitr has previously reported , allegations have been raised that aggressive Bundy critic Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) may have a personal financial stake in Bundy’s land.
Reid, who is a multimillionaire despite being a lifetime government employee, also paved the way for an inexperienced staffer to recently become confirmed as the head of BLM.

While denouncing Cliven Bundy’s racially charged remarks, Judge Jeanine Pirr o (see embed below) assailed what she called Harry Reid’s alleged BLM crony capitalism land grab. She also questioned why it was necessary to deploy a SWAT team “armed to the teeth like they were about to fight Al Qaeda” merely to move some cows.
