Playdead’s indie darling Limbo launched last year on XBLA as part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade promotion, garnering a healthy amount of praise from critics and gamers alike. It was previously stated that Limbo would remain exclusive to XBLA, but that may not be the case.
GameSetWatch picked up on a rating from the Korean Games Rating Board that strongly suggests Limbo could be headed to the PlayStation Network at some point. This rating contradicts Playdead’s statement to Joystiq last year, where they said that Limbo would remain XBLA-exclusive “for life”.
Despite that little statement, I think this is likely to be legit. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time an XBLA-exclusive title became not-so-exclusive. You know, like Braid and Castle Crashers .
