Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey Share Their Easter Celebration with Twins Via Social Media

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey had a wonderful Easter holiday. The happy couple took to social media to share their events of the day with fans.

The Charmbracelet singer took to Twitter with pictures of her hubby and their 3-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. One picture captured the couple’s adorable children wearing bunny ears, while another showed them dying eggs.

The Cannon family Easter celebration comes just a month after the Drumline actor became the center of controversy with his “whiteface” impersonation. The whiteface look was an idea Cannon came up with to promote his upcoming album, White People Party Music. Although he found the parody to be relatively comical, his actions received mixed reviews as some found the spoof to be highly offensive.

Cannon opted to weigh in with his sentiments about the whole debacle when he stopped by The Rachel Ray Show last month.

“I mean, some ultra-sensitive people [are] feeling a way, but I did that on purpose,” he told Rachael Ray earlier this month. “I’ve been planning this over a year, to release my album on April Fool’s Day, call it White People Party Music, and dress up as that character, Connor Smallnut.”

“The funny thing is, if you listen to the album, or kind of go into the back-story of that character, that character is an ultra-sensitive character who hates Nick Cannon, and is offended by the album title ‘White People Party Music.’ Yeah, and, you know, some people can’t take a joke, but I wasn’t trying to reach those people anyway.”

Obviously, fans are over the whole thing, given the heartwarming responses he and Carey received in reference to their family pictures.
