Austin Mahone is finally ready to release his very first full-length album.
After teasing his legion of fans for months on end, the singer recently revealed that The Secret is preparing to see the proverbial light of day. In fact, folks who’ve anxiously anticipated the record don’t have too much longer to wait.
Metro reports that Mahone’s first album is presently slated to arrive in digital and traditional music stores on May 27. To properly support and promote the endeavor, Austin will embark on a tour across North America with a little help from Fifth Harmony and The Vamps. UK dates should arrive later this year.
“Thank you for supporting me and sticking with me all this time. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than to be able to announce new music and a huge tour for all you guys!” Austin Mahone said in a statement.
While fans now have a proper release date to write on their calendars, Mahone stopped short of revealing what songs will appear on the record. The singer has dropped a number of singles over the past several months, which means these tunes could find their way into the collection.
“There are going to be about eight or nine songs on there and it’s going to come out really soon. I’m going to start the preorder soon as well. I’m really excited about that,” the singer previously told the folks at Parade.
He continued, “I feel good about my new song ‘Mmm Yeah,’ too. I hope it continues to grow on the charts and I’m seeing people like it, so that’s all that really matters.”
Just Jared reports that Austin Mahone recently spent some quality time with the folks at The Morning Show in Toronto ahead of the album’s release.
