Sarah Jessica Parker Slams Twitter User Over ‘Disgusting’ Post About Her Children
Sarah Jessica Parker unleashed her own brand of fury on a Twitter user yesterday. Nobody except her and the offending tweeter knows what set her off, but it was enough to get an internet tongue lashing from the Sex and the City star.
Whatever was said about Parker’s children to cause this SJP Twitter feud must have been horrible, since many have undoubtedly poked fun at Parker, including cartoonist comedian Seth MacFarlane in his extremely successful Family Guy series. Perhaps she has heard all of the “horse” jokes and sees them as nothing but static among the probably thousands of directed tweets she probably receives every day.
Rising celebrity Sarah J Symonds had posted the offending tweet and, in a move similar to what happened in the downfall of Amanda Bynes, deleted it shortly afterward. Sometimes we should just type out our thoughts and delete them instead of making them public.
Sarah Jessica Parker replied to Symonds in a series of tweets that have probably seen more traffic than her target usually does, and probably unleashed a hailstorm of fan hate in the process. Sarah J Symonds’ Twitter account describes her as an “infidelity analyst” and “founder of Mistresses Anonymous and Wife School,” a description which Parker attacked rather vehemently.
Could it have been a slam on her parenting skills as a result of the kind of character Sarah Jessica Parker played in the Sex and the City TV show or movies? Did she call Parker’s children a result of infidelity? That seems to be the rumor surrounding this Twitter feud.
Your anonymity doesn’t diminish your outrageous and vulgar tweet. And your deletion only reveals your cowardice. @SarahJSymonds

I’m certain there isn’t a woman on this planet who would support your specific kind of cruelty. No apology, no explanation. @SarahJSymonds

You should be ashamed @SarahJSymonds. I hope more people join me in voicing their objection to and holding accountable… (cont)

…uninformed and unkind women like yourself who find pleasure and delight in attacking other women. @SarahJSymonds

Parker didn’t discuss the details of what earned her public assault on the microblogging social media site. Instead she stated:
“Before I go to sleep I want to thank everyone for coming to my defense today. I [didn’t] relish the opportunity to publicly reprimand. But the words tossed so casually about my children and their provenance I could not abide. Nor are they true.”
It will probably be a while before Sarah J Symonds has the nerve to say anything to Sarah Jessica Parker again.
