‘Teen Wolf’ Season 3 Part 2 Headed To DVD This June

Teen Wolf fans can finally pick up the remaining episodes of season three this spring.

Since the show just aired its season finale — an episode that ended on a decidedly depressing note — MTV is anxious to issue the second part on home video. According to the folks at TVShowsOnDVD, Teen Wolf can anticipate spending some of their hard-earned money this summer.

The website reports that Teen Wolf — Season 3 Part 2 should hit retail shelves in North America on June 17. The three-disc DVD set will set you back around $29.98, though chances are fans can find the collection for a deep discount during the first few days of release. No word yet if the episodes will find their way onto Blu-ray.

Here’s how MTV describes the Teen Wolf set:

“While Scott struggles to find his place as an Alpha, he, Allison and Stiles begin to experience strange side effects as a result of reigniting the power within Beacon Hills. They soon discover that the answer to their problems may be found in a new student named Kira, a girl with remarkable powers of her own.”

Folks who need a refresher course on the second half of Teen Wolf season three will have a few days to get reacquainted with the series before the new episodes pop up on MTV. According to Epoch Times, season four should premiere on June 23.

Fortunately for folks living in the UK, Teen Wolf season three will soon become available through iTunes. Digital Spy reports that the show was ultimately dropped by Sky Living after just two seasons. Although fans in the United Kingdom might have to wait a while before they can officially catch season four, at least they’re not totally cut off.

Chris Ottinger, MGM’s President of International Television Distribution and Acquisitions, had this to say about the iTunes deal:

“We are delighted to not only officially premiere season three of ‘Teen Wolf’ on iTunes in the UK, but to offer customers a unique platform to enjoy the entire series. ‘Teen Wolf’ has one of the most dedicated and fervent fan-bases we have witnessed — they asked for the series in the UK, and we delivered.”

Of course, anxious fans who don’t care about packaged media can always pick up episodes of Teen Wolf right now on sites like Amazon. The HD version of season three will run you $31.99, which is roughly the price of half the episodes on DVD.
