Xolo Q2500 Phablet Listed On Xolo Website For Rs.14,999

India based smartphone and tablet manufacturer Xolo has listed its newest Android powered phablet on its website. The device, known as the Xolo Q2500 PocketPad is bring targeted as a mid-range, affordable large screened tablet. Let us now quickly delve into the features of the product.

Display

The Xolo Q2500 is a full-fledged phablet without doubt. It features a humongous 6-inch 1280*720 pixel display rendering it a PPI value of 245. The IPS panel also supports five point touch. The resolution on the display is slightly on the lower side for the screen size – but the PPI density is not unusably bad either and is apt for the mid-range price you pay for the device.

The Hardware

The Xolo Q2500 PocketPad is powered by a 1.3 Ghz quad core processor housed inside the Mediatek MT6582 chipset. This chipset also endows the device with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory which can be increased further using micro SD cards. The graphics bit is handled by the Mali 400 GPU clocked at 500 Mhz. As expected of a Xolo branded mid rage device, this one too boasts of dual SIM card slots – one of them being 3G capable. For some reason, Xolo has opted to go with the newer micro SIM standard with the Xolo Q2500.

The main camera also adds vertical and horizontal panorama mode. As for the front camera, this one gets a 2 megapixel sensor and is good enough for video calling and an extremely rare 3G video call. The main camera on the Xolo Q2500 also packs in a bunch of other software modes – including an HDR mode.

Connectivity wise, the Xolo Q2500 has pretty much everything covered with comprehensive support for USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The Xolo Q2500 packs in a 3000 Mah battery that according to the company is good for over 600 hours of standby time. It claims to offer a 15 hours of talk time on 3G and 40 hours on a 2G network, five hours of browsing on 3G (7 hours on WiFi) and upto 60 hours of music playback.
