Is This Man Too Handsome To Be A Rapist?

He’s too handsome to be a rapist. That’s what Darrious Mathis and his attorneys told the court Wedneday after he was accused of raping a 24-year old woman at a CVS parking lot nearly three years ago.

Yep, that’s what the defense lawyers told the court and the press. He’s sooo handsome, he couldn’t possibly be a rapist.

Mathis tried to convince the court this week that he was simply too handsome to have raped his alleged victim, adding that the 24-year-old woman had consensual intercourse with him.

His alleged victim testified in court this week, detailing how the too-handsome Mathis raped her.

In her testimony taken from KIRO TV, she said:

“He had told me to get in the car and I actually begged him to take my car. I had pushed my wallet that was in my hand and my keys toward him and I was like ‘Please take my car. You can take my cards and everything.”

According to her testimony, she was forced to drive from the parking lot of the CVS in Austell, Georgia to Atlanta, where the self-proclaimed handsome man Mathis allegedly raped her.

But according to Mathis and his defense team, those events couldn’t possibly happen on the account of his handsome face.

They claimed that the victim willingly had sex with the alleged rapist and that the victim even gave Mathis her phone number.

The victim said that she gave the alleged rapist her number because she was afraid that Mathis might hurt her.

However, the defense maintained their position that the victim was attracted to Mathis’ handsome features and “bubbly” personality. They also added that the victim wanted to buy drugs from the alleged rapist.

According to Carter Clayton, the accused rapist’s lawyer:

‘He walked up to her with a bottle of Vicodin and said, “Wanna buy some pills?” She said, “Sure, get in. We’ll go to the ATM,”‘

Mathis is currently facing charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, carjacking and possession of weapons.

Mathis was tried last September but it resulted to a mistrial after the jury took too long to deliberate about his case.

Darrious isn’t the first alleged rapist to have the worst defense. Last year, a 50-year old man who was accused as a rapist defended that he was just trying to keep her alleged victim’s body “warm” after he found her unconscious in his front porch.
