Justin Bieber has made no secret of his continuing affection for his on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez, previously using his social media accounts to call the Latina a “Heartbreaker,” and more recently, the “Most elegant princess in the world.”
On Monday, the 20-year-old superstar gave Jelena devotees and the media more to gnaw on after he posted an Instagram selfie that’s very likely meant for the “Slow Down” songstress.
Justin’s photo caption read: “Love it when we’re ‘lovey dovey.”
In the picture the singer wears an unreadable expression and sports a Toronto Raptors NBA hat and red scarf over a white T-shirt.
Bieber and Gomez sparked undenied reunion talk after they were snapped in McAllen, Texas on March 7.
The lovebirds enjoyed a reportedly PDA-packed weekend capped with two incendiary dance videos posted to the Canadian’s Instagram account which he later deleted.
The intimate videos seemed to play out Justin and Selena’s stormy love story, but ended with a scene of the pair suggestively wrapped around each other as John Legend’s hit “Ordinary People” played.
Both rumors were denied by Gomez sources last week.
But Gomez’s family aren’t the only ones who reportedly take a dim view of Bieber.
From Radar Online:
“Taylor [Swift] loves Selena and they get along super well, but it’s hard for her to watch her best friend keep going back to Justin when she knows it’s the worst thing for her,” a source purportedly told the gossip website.
Adding,”She feels like maybe Selena needs tough love. She thinks Justin is disgusting and has basically told Selena she can’t support their relationship and if she gets back with him their friendship will probably never be the same.”
Meanwhile, People magazine appear to have shed some light on why the Disney alum can’t stop going back to Justin — apart from the obvious reason of just wanting to.
“Whenever they’re not talking he has to do something to get her attention — like posting [a photo of her at the Vanity Fair Oscars party] — captioned ‘most elegant princess,'” a source told the outlet.
“He reaches out, then says he’s going to come see her and she’s like, ‘Okay.'”
“It’s a pattern on his part. The sad part is, she always goes back to him,” the insider added.

Whether that’s true or not, criticisms and a pregnancy rumor based on a laughably sourced Sonagram don’t appear to have dampened relations between the pair, if Justin’s Instagram reveal is intended for the actress-singer.
The sweethearts have even recorded a duet titled “Unfamiliar.“ Bieber played it to a group of Toronto fans last week, after returning to his native land following his Texas visit.
Bieber subsequently confirmed the song’s existence in a video filmed by fans waiting outside a Toronto recording studio he worked at just days after the impromptu listening session.

Despite legal woes — which include an upcoming DUI trial, an assault charge, and a likely charge for allegedly egging his ex-neighbor’s home — Justin recently teased “Life Is Worth Living,” a ballad thought to refer to Gomez and a DJ Mustard track on Instagram.

On Monday night, the ink-lover debuted his new tattoos on Instagram with the caption, “I love you Korea.”
One of the tattoos located in the crook of his right arm reads “Trust.”
Earlier Tuesday, the illustrated one posted a photo informing his over 15 million Instagram followers he is “done with tats 4 for a while,” and is “where I wanna be.”
By way of contrast, speculation over Justin’s relationship with Selena after his “lovey dovey” Instagram is set to run and run.
Good luck to them.
