‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Begins Production In Michigan, Batsuit Revealed?

The much anticipated sequel to Man Of Steel, Batman vs. Superman has finally begun production in Michigan, after being delayed for almost a year so that the plot could be properly developed, MINBC.com reports.

Residents of the city of Metamora, Michigan, who live close to the filming location — a defunct Girls Scout camp — told the news outlet that the movie had started production over the weekend and they received a letter informing them of the upcoming activities.

According to those who live in the area, construction began in October of 2013 and shortly thereafter security crews arrived to guard the facility from prying eyes.

Batman vs. Superman stars Henry Cavill (Superman/Clark Kent/Kal El) and Ben Affleck (Batman/Bruce Wayne) have not been yet spotted on location.

As to the other awaited little detail fans have eagerly been looking forward to, Affleck’s batsuit, an image started making the rounds online, which supposedly shows the actor in a very grainy looking pic wearing the dark mask and cape, though most believe it is a fake, since Warner Bros. has not taken it down, however it is worth sharing just to get the juices flowing.

To add to the excitement of the Batman suit reveal, Ben Affleck’s wife, actress Jennifer Garner recently joked about her husband’s new role in an interview with Glamour:

“I have seen photos of Ben as Batman. I haven’t seen the real thing yet, but I have a feeling the cape will take up too much room in our closet and shove all my things out of the way!”

She has also mentioned that the suit he will wear in Batman vs. Superman was “incredibly cool” if only a bit tight.

Designntrend website reported that the unveiling of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman costumes would happen sometime in March, however, due to the delay in the start of production this may also be pushed back.

According to the site, Batman vs. Superman director, Zack Snyder, has tried the suits on and in a recent interview in Los Angeles, while promoting his new film 300: Rise Of An Empire, he addressed the Man Of Steel sequel:

“We’re getting ready to start shooting in a month or so. You know, Superman and Batman in the movies have never existed in the same frame together. So it’s an interesting historical thing. We were just testing the suits, right? The new Batsuit and the Superman suit. It wasn’t even with the actors, right? It was just to see ’em. I was standing there, they were standing next to each other. And I was like, ‘Guys, someone take a picture! This has never happened before.’ We slightly dork out. Like, ‘Are you kidding me?!'”

Snyder’s tease has just fueled the anticipation fans of Batman vs. Superman are feeling over the upcoming sequel, so hopefully the studio will take pity and throw a bone very soon.
