Team Canada did not look as sharp in its quarterfinal game, a 2-1 victory over surprising Latvia. The Canadians kept on the pressure, but Latvian netminder Kristers Gudlevskis turned away 55 shots.
“That was one of the best goaltending performances I’ve ever seen,” said Price, the Montreal Canadiens’ three-time NHL All-Star goalie.
