Kate Middleton Wears Blue On Valentine’s Day While Prince William Helps Flood Victims
Kate Middleton was wearing blue on Valentine’s Day, but her spirit didn’t match the color of her dress, as she smiled broadly on Friday’s outing.
The Duchess of Cambridge was making her second official appearance of 2014 at the National Portrait Gallery wearing a recycled Jenny Packham dress, a necklace and earrings completed her simple, yet elegant ensemble.
The mother of the future King of England was attending the opening of the ICAP Art Room at a High School in west London. Kate Middleton has been Royal Patron of The Art Room charity since 2012.
The national charity offers art as therapy to children aged five to 16 who face difficulties in their lives.

In the photos taken of Kate Middleton’s arrival, she looks pleasantly surprised, as about 1,000 students came out to greet her and she received a beautiful bouquet of flowers, perfect on this most romantic day.
Once inside the school, the Duchess sat and listened to the children telling her about what they do during their day and admiring their work.
About 60 children use the Art Room every week and some of them come from neighboring schools, while there they work with art therapists in group sessions designed to build up their self-confidence and self-esteem.
The program has shown that it reduces children’s emotional and behavioral problems.
According to Kensington Palace, Kate Middleton decided to become involved with the charity because it “reflects her interest in the arts and her particular interest in using the creativity of art to enrich the lives of young people.”

Meanwhile Kate Middleton’s husband, Prince William, spent Valentine’s Day with his brother, Prince Harry helping the flooding victims in Berkshire village by placing sand bags to protect their homes, as previously reported by The Inquisitr.

And even though they were not doing the typical things couples do on Valentine’s Day, Kate Middleton and her husband William were both involved in worthy causes and hopefully they have found a baby sitter so they can enjoy a quieter night.
