The Lamborghini Huracán is the new sports car that replaces the Lamborghini Gallardo. The Huracán was first displayed at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, and is scheduled for release in the Spring.

Lamborghini name many of their models after Spanish fighting bulls, and the new Huracán follows in that tradition.

The Huracán was a bull known for its outstanding courage.

According to the specifications, the Lamborghini Huracán seems amazing— 610hp, a top speed of 205 mph (325 km/h), and it can go from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds, even though it has a naturally aspirated rather than a turbocharged V10 under the aero-dynamically styled hood.

Lamborghini’s claim that it’s even more exciting on the road, so they have been taking the car on a short world tour aimed at their VIP clients. After only 30 days they say they have taken 700 orders.

Considering the roughly $250,000 price tag, that’s no mean feat! The model the Lamborghini Huracán is replacing – the Gallardo – cost a mere $181,000,

Actually, the Huracán kept the 5.2 L naturally aspirated V10 engine from the Gallardo, tuned for 610 PS (449 kW; 602 hp). The car is mid-engined for best performance and balance. It combines the two systems of direct fuel injection and multi-point fuel injection.

The Huracán can accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.9 seconds. It has electronically controlled all-wheel drive,

The car is fitted with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and Lamborghini’s new ‘Doppia Frizione’ (Dual Clutch) gearbox. The transmission performs differently according to the mode selected.

The Lamborghini Huracán is not only beautiful on the outside, it also features an amazing interior.

There is a choice of full electric control and heating of the sport seats, in addition to the standard lengthwise alignment and electric backrest. There is an optional navigation system and, of course, leather upholstery.

Is the Lamborghini Huracán worth the money? Well, 700 clients obviously think so.
