Demi Lovato Engaged To Wilmer Valderrama? Not So Fast
It’s been suggested that Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are back together after an on-again-off-again relationship. The two were seen in August having some fun in Disneyland and, since then, their relationship news has been fairly quiet, that is until now.
According to HollywoodLife, Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are taking their relationship to the next level. Rumors started to circulate about the private couple when Demi Lovato was photographed outside clutching a beverage, which gave the folks over at HollywoodLife plain view of something that might have resembled an engagement right.
According to the HollywoodLife report, they checked with a saleswoman at Tiffany & Co to see if Valderrama bought an engagement ring for the former X Factor judge. Of course the woman from Tiffany & Co said that he did, and that it was right before Thanksgiving. Of Valderrama’s disposition, she said he was “really excited and happy.”
The employee elaborated on Demi Lovato’s alleged engagement ring some more, while remaining as vague as possible about the details surrounding That 70’s Show actor’s purchase:
“He chose a really classic, beautiful ring. Demi is going to be a happy girl when she gets it. He didn’t say what it was for but he was really excited and happy — he seemed like any other guy getting ready to pop the question.”
Before Demi Lovato fans start to celebrate and tweet the famous couple, it’s been said that the story of Wilmer and Demi’s engagement is absolutely false. According to Gossip Cop, the cheesy engagement ring story was a recycled old tip. According to the second site, the powers that be checked in on a supposed Lovato insider who said, “It’s not an engagement ring.”
We guess that settles it, then! Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are not engaged. Other than the engagement rumors, the last time we heard from the couple was when OK magazine reported that Lovato warned Valderrama that, if he wanted a real shot at a future with the singer, then he would have to stop his partying ways. Although we can’t confirm or deny this happened, it seems pretty much in line for Lovato, who recently has opened up about living a sober life.
Even though Demi Lovato has been open about her dark past, it doesn’t seem like she’s willing to talk about other private matters. In September she set the record straight to Ryan Seacrest on acknowledging her private life in public:
“He is an incredible human being and I am honored to have him in my life, but I do feel like, regardless of what the status is, I share so much with the world that I like to keep some things private and it’s something I don’t want to talk about.”
Currently Demi Lovato can be seen on the hit show Glee.
