Nicki Minaj isn’t pregnant with Lil Wayne’s baby, though chances are you already knew that.
Rumors were making the rounds not too long ago that the former American Idol judge was carrying around a child fathered by fellow rapper Lil Wayne. Since the rumor seemed to start at a questionable gossip website known for spinning wild tales, not too many people took the report very seriously.
To set the internet straight once and for all, reps for Nicki Minaj and rumored baby daddy Lil Wayne reached out to the folks over at RumorFix. According to the spokesperson, there’s no truth to the rumors you’ve read online. In other words, you should let this one go.
Reports about Nicki Minaj’s pregnancy began over at ThyBlackMan, a website that often pulls tales of celebrity drama out of thin air. According to the site, Minaj and Lil Wayne had a little too much fun late last year. As a result, Nicki ended up pregnant with the rapper’s baby.
Another insider reportedly told the site that they spotted Nicki Minaj and her baby bump while she was having dinner on January 2. When someone proposed a toast, Minaj was also caught drinking water instead of alcohol. Obviously this means that Nicki was pregnant.
“Nicki twice made toasts by drinking water instead of wine, and it’s highly unusual for her to toast with anything but a full glass of wine,” the anonymous source reported.
Although internet rumors about celebrities and their personal lives are amusing every once in a while, there appears to be more of these reports swimming around the internet these days than usual. The folks at HollywoodLife recently spun a tale about Rihanna burning an apology letter penned by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. When a rep for the “Diamonds” singer denied the story, the website upped the ante with a tale centered about Brown’s alleged response. Not surprisingly, that bogus report also shot down.
