Miley Cyrus Rocks A Bowl Cut, Sparks Twitter Mockery [Photo]

Miley Cyrus definitely knows how to make an impression.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer doesn’t seem to care what anyone thinks about her fashion choices these days. Let’s hope her skin is thick enough to handle the mockery that popped up all over Twitter once photos of her new hairstyle hit the internet.

Many folks seem to think Miley Cyrus bears a very strong resemblance to Jim Carrey’s character Lloyd Christmas from the classic 90s comedy Dumb and Dumber. While that comparison is definitely a little cruel, it’s not entirely off the mark.

According to The Huffington Post, an opportunistic photographer snapped shots of Miley Cyrus outside of a recording studio on January 14. The singer topped off the new look with a white t-shirt and black suspenders. If you’re curious to see Cyrus’ new look, then take a peek at the images below.

Miley Cyrus is definitely no stranger to the world of outrageous hairstyles. The singer famously sheared off the sides of her hair into a blonde fauxhawk not too long ago. The former Hannah Montana star also rocked a ‘do that seemed directly inspired by Brigitte Nielsen’s look from the 80s. Even the actress thought Cyrus had hijacked her style.

Miley told the Toronto Sun last year that she didn’t think getting a simple haircut would drastically change her life. However, even Cyrus couldn’t deny the effect it had on her existence.

“I didn’t plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my lfe. There’s something about having no hair that it screams being confident. And I think especially because people like to put people in a box, I mean the names I’ve been called since I cut my hair,” Miley Cyrus explained.

She added, “People think short hair, they think tom boy. I’ve obviously done the opposite ’cause when I cut my hair, I did my first Maxim cover where I got No. 1 (in their annual hot list). And it wasn’t about me being the sexiest. It was about the fans voting. But it’s something I loved. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Maxim cover with a girl with short hair.”
