Justin Bieber Entourage Accused Of Assaulting Limo Driver Amid Bodyguards Arrest Elsewhere

A member of Justin Bieber’s entourage has been accused of assaulting a limo driver hired to drive the singer and a group of his friends either late Sunday, December 29 or early Monday, December 30.

Officers were called out to the intersection of University Ave. and Dundas St. in Toronto, where the driver for Bieber’s entourage pulled over,

“The limo driver called police saying he was assaulted by one of his fares, and his fare included the entourage of Justin Bieber,” Constable Victor Kwong with the Toronto Police Service told the Daily News.

“At this time the investigation is still ongoing as to who did it, or if anyone did it for that matter,” he adding, also noting the driver wasn’t taken to a hospital for treatment.

“He was there,” Kwong said, when asked if Bieber was in the limo.

The pop star was photographed at the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game at the Air Canada Center earlier on Sunday.

He was accompanied by a group that included his father, Jeremy Bieber, his childhood friend Ryan Butler, and music producer Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd among others.

Meanwhile, an incident on Saturday involving two of the 19-year-old’s security team took place in Florida. The singer was not present.

According to TMZ, two of Bieber’s bodyguards were arrested on Saturday, December 28 for allegedly “attacking” a police officer in Miami, Florida.

The two guards have been named as Hugo Hesney and Michael Arana.

Both were videoed by the website leaving the Florida jail the following Sunday where they had been booked.

“Police confirmed the two were arrested Saturday night after a ‘Miami Meet Up’ for Justin’s new movie in Aventura, Florida,’ the site reports.

“Meet up” is a colloquial term Bieber, his manager Scooter Braun, director Jon M. Chu and others connected to the singer’s camp use online to describe group events organized by fans to watch screenings of his latest film, Believe.

TMZ adds, “Details of the incident are sketchy, but we know Hesny was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer and his bail was set at $10.5K. Arana was popped for disorderly conduct and bail was set at $1,500.”

The website said it obtained a copy of a police report which apparently states Arana reacted to Hesny’s arrest by assuming “a fighting stance.”

It’s alleged Arana resisted arrest until officers restrained him on the ground and “delivered numerous knee strikes” to his ribs.

It’s claimed the arresting officer reported smelling alcohol on Arana’s breath.

Bieber is currently taking a break in his Canadian homeland with his family over Christmas and recently uploaded of himself standing next to a snowmobile amid a snowy landscape.

Bieber’s management recently denied the star is retiring after he posted tweets stating that on Christmas Eve.

“I hear him saying, ‘I’m going to take the year,’ but I’m going to force him to take the year because after three weeks… he’ll want to work again,” Braun told Access Hollywood, after Justin’s declaration to a Los Angeles radio station that he was retiring.

“He hasn’t taken time off since he was 12,” the manager added. “I think it’s important to find out who he wants to be.”
