Charlie Sheen Unleashes Twitter Rant Against Phil Robertson
Charlie Sheen has blasted Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson in no uncertain terms for his anti-gay remarks, rhetorically threatening Robertson with a so-called “MaSHeen-style media beatdown” unless he apologizes.
Unless you’ve been away duck hunting or perhaps somewhere else for an extended period of time, you probably are aware that the Duck Dynasty star has been suspended from the very popular A&E show for controversial statements published in GQ magazine. Charlie Sheen has now taken to social media to add his two (or maybe 2-1/2) cents, in very personal terms, concluding that he is “repulsed” by Phil Robertson.
In an extended tweet, the Anger Management star said among other things…
“hey Mallard brained Phil Robertso! you have offended and hurt so many dear friends of mine, who DO NOT have the voice or the outreach that I do. well news flash shower-dodger, I will speak loudly and clearly for ALL of them. so, just when your desperately sub evolved ass thought the pressure was off, you are now in the crosshairs of a MaSheen style media beat down…
“your statements were and are abhorrently and mendaciously unforgivable…
“shame on you. you’re the only surviving brain donor I’ve ever known…”
Sheen also insisted that Robertson “make serious amends” to those he has “radically offended.”
Separately, the Cracker Barrel restaurant chain has decided to pull some Duck Dynasty-related products from their gift shops, although they are still apparently offering Duck Commander items. The chain noted that “We removed selected products which we were concerned might offend some of our guests while we evaluate the situation. We continually evaluate the products we offer and will continue to do so.”
It’s been otherwise reported, however, that the Walmart website has sold out many Duck Dynasty items “demonstrating that fans of the show and supporters of Robertson are buying it all up just in time for Christmas.”
