Jessie’s Girl singer Rick Springfield was arrested over the weekend in Los Angeles under suspicion of drunk driving.
The General Hospital star, 61, was pulled over for a traffic violation when officers smelled alcohol on his breath. According to one of two arresting officers, Springfield “accelerated rapidly” while driving his 1963 Corvette down the Pacific Coast Highway.
According to a field sobriety test Springfield blew a .10 followed by a .08, enough to push him over the California limit of .08.
Springfield was later released on $5,000 bail.Rick will appear back in court to face charges in July.
