[VIDEO] First Madden 12 footage released, Hillis confirmed as cover star
Try to hide your joy, but it’s a double whammy of Madden 12 news for you today.
News nugget one: EA released the first two videos of the game in action, more of which below (SPOILER: It totally looks like Madden 11). News nugget two: Peyton Hillis will be the next Madden cover star after he trashed Michael Vick in the finals of the cover vote with a convincing 66% slice of the vote.
The video clips cover gameplay and presentation respectively. The former shows off the all-new collision system, defensive A.I. enhancements, and a highly requested feature: custom playbooks.
The second showcases all the stuff you’ll click through after your third match. You know, the team run-outs with the mascots and cheerleaders, broadcast cameras, etc. To be fair, Madden games do TV-style presentation better than any other sports game, but it’s ultimately extraneous to the final quality of the game.
