Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt spent quite a bit of money over the years.
It’s no secret that Montag and Pratt blew through a ton of money during the early part of their relationship. However, some folks are probably unaware of just how much cash the couple spent when all the receipts were eventually added up.
According to UPI , Heidi Montag reportedly spent upwards of $10 million in a relatively short amount of time. This reportedly includes the $30,000 the former Hills star spent on copious amounts of plastic surgery. In case you haven’t heard, she’s trying to reverse some of those over-the-top physical alterations.
Instead of keeping their financial woes hidden away, Montag and Pratt recently decided to spill the expensive beans during an interview with the folks at In Touch . Although they had no qualms about spending the cash at the time, it seems as though the couple is living with a fair amount of regret at the moment.
“We were immature and we got caught up. Every time we’d go out to eat, we’d order $4,000 bottles of wine. Heidi was going to the mall and dropping $20,000 to $30,000 a day. We thought we were Jay Z and Beyonce,” Pratt told the publication.
In addition to expressing their regret at spending more money than most people will see in their entire lives, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt opened up about their stint on the MTV reality series. While she had a blast at the time, Montag seems more than happy to put those days behind her.
“I didn’t realize people would only know me as that character. It was just a persona I played up to make a paycheck. [The show] took a toll on my soul. I’m thankful not to have fake fights anymore!” she explained to In Touch .
Spending too much money during shopping sprees isn’t the only thing Heidi Montag regrets these days. The reality TV star told Us Weekly last month that isn’t at all happy about the plastic surgery she had to enhance the size of her breasts. She recently went under the knife to reduce her boobs from an F cup to a C.
“I couldn’t conceptualize the weight of them in my body. They felt like bowling balls on my chest. I felt inappropriate. Guys would stare at me really creepily and felt they had the right to because I had such big boobs,” Montag told the magazine.
She added, “He told me they were falling through the bottom, and I got scared. It’s super dangerous. They can fall through to your belly button!”
