Watch One Direction 1D Day Live Online

Fans can watch One Direction in 1D Day, an online live-streaming event that features seven straight hours of performances, behind-the-scenes clips, and special features for fans.

One Direction decided to turn November 23 into 1D Day so fans get their fill of bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson just hours before they release the album Midnight Memories.

The band has promised to play many of the tracks from their new album throughout 1D Day.

There will be plenty of other performances squeezed into all seven hours of 1D Day, but also sketches and a lot of fan interaction. The boys will air winners of the 1D Day challenges, in which fans created their own videos.

The event also features some guest appearances, including Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, Simon Cowell, and others.

The special comes as bandmates say they are turning in their best work ever. Niall Horan recently noted that he thinks the song “The Story of My Life” is one of the best the band has ever turned in.

Though the track wasn’t actually written by the One Direction boys — it came from their friend, songwriter Jamie Scott — Nial Horan said Jamie knows the band well and the song fits them perfectly.

Niall Horan said, “He’s written a lot with us on this album too. We were in Nottingham on tour when we were touring the UK back in February and March and we just came into a room one day and he was like ‘I’ve got this song that I’ve written and I want to play you’. And we just fell in love with it the second we heard it.”
