‘Dumb And Dumber To’ Gets A November Release Date

Looks like we’ll have to wait a full year to see what Dumb And Dumber’s Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne are up to. The two best friends are going to be coming to a theater near you just in time for the holidays — that’s November 2014 to be exact.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans of the Dumb and Dumber duo will have to wait a bit for the Dumb & Dumber To sequel. It’s only right as next year marks the original’s 20th year anniversary. The sequel will reunite the duo, and this time around, their road trip will take them on a journey to find Harry’s long-lost daughter.

With the original directors on board, the Farrelly brothers will most likely helm a pretty hilarious film, given the natural chemistry between Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. Couple that with the actors comedic styling and we may have a fantastic sequel on our hands. In addition to Carrey and Daniels, the film also stars Rob Riggle, Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden, Steven Tom, Kathleen Turner and Jennifer Lawrence.

Although Lawrence is playing a “Younger Fraida Felcher”, the fact that a huge star like Jennifer Lawrence is in Dumb and Dumber To had some people speculating that she might have been cast as Lloyd’s daughter. That would have been a great casting decision, except for the fact that Lawrence is way too cool to be the half product of Lloyd Christmas.

Another anticipated appearance in the film is the inclusion of the “blind kid.” If you’re familiar with the original, then you’ll remember the blind kid as the poor boy who Lloyd sold his dead parakeet to.

One thing that was missing during the cult fan favorite film was the presence of the internet. Now, nostalgic fans and new fans of the film can gather together on Twitter to share their excitement for the film. Since the announcement that Carrey and Daniels had started filming Dumb and Dumber To, both actors have been drumming up even more excitement by posting photos on set.
