Kylie Jenner Doesn’t Remember Life Before Reality Television Fame

Kylie Jenner has been on television for so long that the 16-year-old says she doesn’t even remember what it was like before she was famous.

Kylie was nine years old when her family was thrown into the spotlight on the reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Since the show first aired in 2007 the teenager has become a star in her own right, with a budding fashion career and even her own fashion line.

It has been so long in the spotlight that Kylie Jenner now says fame is the only life she knows.

“I don’t remember how it was before [I was famous] because I was nine when this all started,” the 16-year-old told Us Weekly. “So it’s kind of like I grew up into it. It’s kind of like I don’t know any different.”

While sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian have spun off into their own reality show empire, Kylie and her sister Kendall Jenner have made their own way in the fashion world.

“We’re still working on our Pac Sun line. We have a jewelry line at Nordstrom and we’re coming out with a book that we’re really excited about,” Kylie told Us Weekly. “I would love to in the future maybe create my own line and branch away from Kendall and continue Pac Sun.”

Kylie says she hadn’t taken her fame for granted, noting that it has brought “such great things.” But with that fame has come increased scrutiny on Kylie and her family.

When her parents Bruce and Kris Jenner announced that they had separated, Kylie had to flee the photographers staked out at the family’s home. She met up with boyfriend Jaden Smith for sushi, but even then wasn’t able to avoid paparazzi.

But Kylie Jenner remains undeterred, and said there could be even more fame in her future. She says she wants to try her hand at acting next.
