Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade Getting Hot Under The Collar With Tie Bar

After losing two of their first three games, the Miami Heat are warming up eight games into the 2013-14, winning four of their last five.

With his powerful performance against the L.A. Clippers—while LeBron was on the bench—Miami’s veteran guard Dwyane Wade is turning up the temperature on the court. And, just in time for the holidays, Dwyane wade is getting hot under the collar.

Figuratively speaking, that is: we’re talking Dwyane Wade neck wear, folks. You know, ties?

Dwyane Wade’s own label on The Tie Bar is launching next Wednesday, November 20. The Dwyane Wade Collection, which already includes a line of socks with Stance, will feature 30 bow ties, 15 neckties and 15 pocket squares, in addition to seven tie bars and four cuff-link styles. Heat fans and fashion fans alike can enter here for the chance to win autographed merchandise from the Dwyane Wade for The Tie Bar label.

“It’s an opportunity to do something unique and cool,” said Wade. “My whole thing is to bring my taste, my style, my fashion to whatever I’m a part of,” Dwyane said.

Look out world, it’s Dwyane Wade, fashionista.

Wade’s biggest endorsement in the fashion world is with Li-Ning footwear and Dwyane’s managers brought all his partners—including Hublot watches and Dove skin care—for a meeting of the minds on the Dwyane Wade Brand.

“It’s a chance for everyone to get to know each other and get a chance to be on the same page,” explained Wade, via Women’s Wear Daily. “The Tie Bar and Stance and Li-Ning can all talk and communicate and say, ‘OK, when are you coming out with this and maybe we can come out with something similar to tie back to it and tell a story.'”

It’s not Dwyane Wade’s first fashion statement, but it’s likely to be less polarizing than his hoodie cover of Ebony.

In other Dwyane Wade fashion news, he may have been outdone in this year’s holiday jersey campaign. In 2012, Dwyane and Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Russell Westbrook and Joe Johnson played “Carol of the Bells” by dribbling in place, but now Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, James Harden, Steve Nash and Stephen Curry are shooting three-spots at nets adorned with bells in order to play “Jingle Bells.”

What do you think of Dwyane Wade’s fashion ventures? Which jersey spot is better, this year’s or last year’s with Dwyane Wade?
