Miranda Lambert debuted her recent weight loss on the CMAs red carpet Wednesday night, opting for a sparkling blue gown with a plunging neckline.
The singer, who won Female Vocalist of the Year for the fourth time last night, wore a Roberto Cavalli gown on the red carpet, then switched up her outfit for a black lace and nude colored mini dress when she accepted her award for Female Vocalist of the Year.
Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton, probably described his wife’s new look the best when he tweeted before the show , “My wife is so hot it’s ridiculous…”
E! Online reports that the ‘All Kinds of Kinds” singer revealed her weight loss secret , which is “working a lot!” She explained, “Working out and drinking juice and just running, running around.” Miranda Lambert added:
“You know what, I fluctuate all the time in my weight — it’s really annoying — but I’m going to be 30 in like four days, so I’m like, ‘I need to get ahead of this thing!’ ”
And Miranda certainly did. With the help of her friends and family, Lambert picked the sleek cobalt gown to wear. She stated of the dress, “I thought it was a great color and it fit great, so here I am.”
People notes that Lambert also showed off her weight loss earlier this week at the BMI Country Awards, where she wowed attendees in a chic little black dress.
After she won the Female Vocalist of the Year award, Lambert entered the press room and immediately commented, “I’ve been working out, but this thing is heavy!”
While the country star did fess up to giving up Cheetos, she commented, “I didn’t give up drinking. I refused. You have to drink to put up with my husband! Just kidding!”
Well, drinking or not, we have to say Miranda Lambert is looking great.
