Demi Moore Divorced At Last? Did She Get The $25 Million?

Finally, after almost two years of wrangling, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are ending their marriage.

PEOPLE magazine was informed by an inside source that the divorce agreement has been drawn up and was simply awaiting the signatures of the couple. Demi Moore is thus finishing up her third marriage. Demi married Kutcher in 2005 and announced they were splitting up in 2011, initially filing for divorce in December 2012.

So, this time, Demi’s marriage lasted one year longer than her first marriage to Freddy Moore which ended in 1985. But she managed to put up with Bruce Willis for much longer.

Willis and Moore also managed to produce three children from their 13 year stint together – that one ended in the year 2000.The children Rumer Willis, Tallulah Belle Willis, and Scout LaRue Willis were among the first to be saddled with unusual names – a practice since copied by many “celebrity parents.”

Demi Moore and Kutcher have been fighting over how to divide their estimated fortune of more than $300 million. Earlier this year the Inquisitr reported that Moore was seeking at least $25 million in a lump sum payment from Kutcher, believing much of the money he put into technology startups like Skype wouldn’t have been possible without Moore.

Initially, Moore had also sought spousal support from Kutcher, but TMZ reports she is not going to receive this in the settlement.

“Demi introduced him to powerful friends that took Ashton under their wings,” a source close to Moore said. “He would not have been able to make so much money if he had not met them.

PEOPLE says that In 2010, Kutcher and partner Guy Oseary, a Moore pal, launched A-Grade Investments with billionaire Ron Burkle, which is valued at $100 million. Kutcher also continues to earn money from the CBS hit Two and a Half Men – a reported $24 million last year.

Kutcher is now dating his co-star from That ’70s Show, Mila Kunis, and friends have speculated an engagement is likely. “He’s set on proposing to Mila,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE. “He can’t wait to start his life with her.”

Whether he has now given up following Kabbalah is not being reported.

Demi Moore is a follower of Philip Berg’s Kabbalah Centre religion, and she initiated Kutcher into the faith, having said that she “didn’t grow up Jewish, but… would say that [she has] been more exposed to the deeper meanings of particular rituals than any of [her] friends that did.”

Interesting to learn that Demi Moore has a spiritual dimension to her life. Hopefully, it will sustain her as she fights over the millions of dollars.
