Britney Spears Pens Letter To Fans, Teases New Album And Single

Britney Spears feels kind of bad about not communicating at-length with her countless fans and followers over the past few months. To fix this serious problem, the singer issued a lengthy hand-written letter to her legion of worshipers.

Before getting down to business, Spears apologized her to fans for the lack of correspondence. Since she’s currently preparing for her new album and her stint as a Las Vegas attraction, it’s easy to understand why she hasn’t enjoyed a moment to herself.

“I am putting the finishing touches on my new album, ‘Britney Jean’ over the next few days and I am so excited for you to hear it. I poured my heart and soul into this album and it’s been an incredible journey,” Britney Spears said in her letter to fans.

She continued:

“I’ve learned a lot about myself, and as I am finishing, I am reminded of the incredible foundation that has supported me for the last 15 years. Thank you all for continuing to follow me on this journey and for allowing me to do what I love to do. I can’t believe this is my eighth studio album and I know I keep telling you that it is my most personal record yet, but its true and I’m really proud of that. “

Britney Spears said she used the events she encountered over the past few years as fuel for the new songs. To help her bring these ideas to life, the singer worked with such talented individuals as William Orbit, Sia, and Will.i.am. She described the experience as “amazing.”

“They have listened to all of my ideas and helped me bring them to life. There are a lot of really fun, upbeat dance songs, but it was important to me that I show my strength, and my attitude, and my vulnerability. Of course, I also have some surprises for you guys,” Britney Spears wrote to her fans and followers.

Although it’s been a while since she her last album — Femme Fatale hit retail shelves back in 2011 — her next collection of songs should drop this December. The first single “Perfume” is presently slated to arrive on November 5.

If you still need more Britney Spears in your life, then you might want to consider taking a trip to Las Vegas. The singer will spend the next two years belting out one song after another. She reportedly received a whopping $30 million for her time and effort.
