Mayim Bialik filed a lawsuit over a car accident that occurred last August.
The actress said that she is still suffering from the injuries she sustained during the car crash. She is now suing the driver as well as Hertz Rent-A-Car.
The Big Bang Theory actress talked to reporters this weekend at the GLSEN’s Respect Awards in Beverly Hills. Bialik said that some of the injuries were over-exaggerated by the media but added that she is still recovering from her injuries.
Bialik said : “I did not almost lose my hand (but) I sustained significant injuries for which I am still recovering and will continue to be recovering. I’m aware of it every day not being one hundred percent. At least it wasn’t my face torn open.”
The Big Bang Theory actress was in a serious car accident in August of 2012 . The actress wrote on her blog (with her left hand because her write was damaged in the accident) that the car crash was both “bloody and scary.”
Bialik wrote: “I had a horrible accident… I will be okay. I have all my fingers but a very impaired right hand. It was very bloody and scary but I am ok. A man named Tim and another man whose name I don’t know saved me from losing a lot of blood and helped me talk to my husband at the scene. I am grateful to them.”
Mayim Bialik may have injured her hand in a car crash last year but that hasn’t slowed the actress down too much. The Big Bang Theory has earned two Preimtime Emmy nominations for the hit CBS show and recently earned a big raise from CBS .
