Viewzi Opens Its Door To The Public

Viewzi, the visual search engine I described back in May as “visual search nearly done right” has opened its doors to the public.

According to the Viewzi team, the private beta program has been “a great success” with nearly 10,000 users on the site after a couple months. They claim that during this time they’ve ironed out “dozens of bugs” as well, and based on user feedback are planning new features.

I gave it a shot again for this post and the one thing I did notice: the still combined search results but Google seems to get the lead, delivering superior resulted then last time. Overall assessment: go and give it a try, at the very least it’s pretty, and I can still see myself regularly using this.
