Ryan Gosling Extension Makes Your Web Browser All ‘Hey, Girl’

A new Ryan Gosling extension turns the world wide web into a Gosling fan’s paradise… replacing all images with the delightful countenance of the hero hottie.

The Ryan Gosling extension for Chrome is easy to add-on — and with a few clicks, your entire browsing experience is transformed.

Sad image of a dying animal? No, it’s Ryan Gosling. Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid at war? Now it’s Ryan Gosling. Kardashians crowding up your celeb news site? Nope. Ryan Gosling.

A website for the Ryan Gosling extension offers two options for web browsers sick of a light-on-Ryan web experience.

Installing a browser add on is one, and the other is dragging a bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar, enabling you to “Hey Girl” a page up at will.

The site explains:

“SICK OF YOUR FACEBOOK FRIENDS? NEWS GETTING YOU DOWN? INSTANTLY CHANGE ALL THE IMAGES ON A WEBPAGE TO RYAN GOSLING… Drag the button below to your bookmarks bar or download the Chrome Extension.”

Ever the willing guinea pigs, The Inquisitr took the Ryan Gosling extension for a test run.

Over on Facebook, a detailed photoset of a comic convention… now a block of Ryan Gosling images. Pinterest changed from a bunch of boring casseroles to Gosling kissing someone in the rain. Awwww…

Even our own homepage was bereft of sinkholes and royal baby pics, instead a cornucopia of Ryan Gosling.

One site note is that the Ryan Gosling extension sometimes seems to conflict with other extensions — like Social Fixer on Facebook, or some of our browser based metrics on WordPress.

But overall, the Ryan Gosling extension does do what it sets out to — replace the web with images of Ryan Gosling. So we rate it five stars.
