Stacey Keibler Admits She ‘Didn’t Discuss’ Marriage With Clooney [Video]

Despite all of the gossip floating around, marriage was never on the table for Stacy Keibler and George Clooney.

The 33-year-old model recently split with Clooney with many gossip rags claiming that she called it off with the 52-year-old because he just wouldn’t settle down.

Keibler very artfully addressed her break-up with Clooney during a Wednesday chat on Good Morning America, and put several errant rumors to bed. Among them, the “marriage” question.

“Everyone that knows me thinks that is the funniest story because that is the last thing on my mind,” Keibler explained. “I think a little bit different than most woman out there. I don’t really think about that right now.”

Clooney has famously said on multiple occasions that marriage and kids aren’t on his radar and never will be, and Keibler’s statements reflect that she understood as much going in.

“We didn’t discuss that,” she said of marriage to Clooney. She also said that the split was “absolutely amicable” and that she’s “doing great, thank you.”

But the real reason for Keibler’s appearance on GMA wasn’t to talk about her love life. Instead, she was there to talk about her new food-centric Lifetime show Supermarket Superstar.

“It’s not just a show about cooking,” she said of the new program. “It’s a show about the American dream, really.”

The interview also marked a rare occasion for Keibler, and that is her openness to talk about her relationship with George Clooney at all.

“Before the breakup, it was always agreed before the interview that you could ask a question about George, but she wouldn’t answer it,” said one TV producer. “Now she might. What has she got to lose?”
