Verizon Nexus One Rumored For Release By Next Week

Google Nexus One For Verizon Wireless

Google really wants the Nexus One to be a huge success and this week rumors are saying that the Verizon Wireless version of the device could arrive as early as next Friday.

The Verizon version is a carrier locked option and for a brief moment the Nexus One site had shown a $199 price tag which we can safely assume would include a 2 year contract with some type of data plan.

This one’s still just a rumor but Engadget has it on good authority from a “trusted insider” that the release date is looming close for the “sense-less” CDMA version of the Google Nexus One.

Anyone have more info? Feel free to share it with everyone by leaving a comment below.

ya that picture it bunk.. it still shows the tmobile unlocked version at the bottom up top. We know they’re gonna at least have the unlocked version for $529

I wouldn’t be so sure David, the original source specifically said as I did that the page was only up for a short time. There is a good chance they were getting the page ready and had shuffled stuff around and accidentally (or not so accidentally) pushed it live.
