Hopey signs bill into law, Biden drops F-bomb

Vice President Joe Biden has a bit of a problem with speaking before thinking.

President Obama famously poked fun at Biden for the tendency when roasting the VP at a dinner, and it seems Biden has landed himself in trouble again for his lack of verbal decorum. During the event today when President Obama signed the new healthcare bill into law today, Biden didn’t stop himself from telling the POTUS how he really felt:

Vice President Joe Biden, perhaps overcome with excitement during his speech congratulating President Obama on the passage of health care reform, dropped an F-bomb on live television when he turned to Obama and said, “This is a big f*cking deal.”

Well, in fairness to Biden, it kind of is. It doesn’t seem to have offended the powers that be too much, as Press Secretary Robert Gibbs addressed the gaffe in a tweet:
