Fast and Furious 6 just had a featurette released.
The Fast and The Furious has had a strange history, going from an action packed film full of hammy acting and some of the least researched facts ever seen in a car movie, to a well-scripted film that actually made Dwayne Johnson look like he was necessary to make it. With the return of Michelle Rodriguez, this marks the biggest returning cast the series has ever seen. Fast and Furious 6 stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Luke Evans and Gina Carano, and is directed by Justin Lin.
The Fast and Furious 6 featurette starts with Vin Diesel, also the producer, saying, “Dom in the beginning of the movie is on the run. He’s obviously chosen a place with no extradition, but you get the sense that something’s not right.”
We see Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs sneaking up on Vin Diesel‘s Dominic Toretto, “It wasn’t that hard to find you, Toretto.”
Toretto replies, “Wasn’t hiding.”
Vin Diesel continues, “Dom’s about to be hit with some very life changing information.”
Hobbs tells Toretto, “I need your help, Dom.”
Dwayne Johnson begins talking about Fast and Furious 6, “Going to Dom is not only the last resort, but it’s the best resort. We’re chasing this team of highly coordinated drivers across four continents and twelve countries. … his most recent job’s graduated them to a whole new level.”
We see Luke Evans race out of a parking garage in a drag racer as he detonates some explosives behind him. Hobbs tells Toretto, “You’re gonna help me catch the team responsible.”
Toretto replies, “Why is that, Hobbs?”
Hobbs answers, “This was taken a week ago,” and hands him a picture of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez).
