Stauskas Hits 102 3-Pointers In Five Minutes [Video]

Nik Stauskas hit 102 3-pointers in just five minutes.

Why? Well, because why not. Stauskas spends a lot of time shooting threes in his backyard and said that he wanted to try and break his personal record for most three-pointers hit in five minutes.

Stauskas said: “This is Nik Stauskas and I’m going to try and beat a record of 96 threes in five minutes.”

Stauskas then heads to the top of the arch and starts draining triple after triple. According to Yahoo Sports, the Michigan sharpshooter hit 128 out of 142 (including 102 3-pointers in a five minute span.)

His dad, Paul, rebounds for his son during the shooting onslaught but Paul doesn’t have to work too hard as Nik only missed 14 shots during the course of the video.

This isn’t the first time that Nik has shown off his shooting talents on YouTube. Last December, Stauskas made his way around the arc, his dad rebounding again, and hit 45 out of 50 3-pointers.

Nik told USA Today: “We felt we needed to get out here and get a workout in on Christmas Eve… I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Enjoy.”

Here’s the video of Stauskas hitting 102 3-pointers in five minutes.

And in case you’re looking for more shooting videos, here’s the Christmas video.

Nik isn’t shooting with any defenders in his face during these YouTube videos but that doesn’t mean that he can’t handle the pressure. The Michigan star hit scored 22 points and went six for six from deep to help his team advance to the final four.
