George Clooney Starts Snowball Fight With Matt Damon

George Clooney has become legendary for his antics on Hollywood sets, and this time around the actor has targeted his good buddy Matt Damon. Clooney started a snowball fight with his The Monuments Men co-star this week while the pair were filming the wartime drama.

Clooney, director of the film, threw a snowball at Matt Damon, which led the actor to respond in kind.

The movie set was hit with a late season snow fall, which stopped production on the film for a short period of time.

A local tabloid says costar Cate Blanchett chose to avoid the snowball fight, although the movie’s production team cheered on the two actors as they battled in the snow.

After the snowball fight came to an end, Damon and Clooney continued shooting the film. The Monuments Men is filming outside Berlin and is based on the true story of an allied division of men and women who attempted to rescue famous works of art that were pillaged by Nazi soldiers.

Clooney and Damon are no strangers to pranking one another. The two men also worked on the Ocean’s 11, Ocean’s 12, and Ocean’s 13 sets together.

When they are not busy hurling snowballs at one another’s heads, the two actors are often seen hanging out together. Matt Damon, George Clooney, and Stacy Keibler were spotted eating at the Grill Royal Restaurant in Berlin, Germany last Saturday. The restaurant has hosted Clooney and Damon on several occasions.

Clooney could have ended up throwing snowballs at Daniel Craig. The James Bond actor was originally attached to the project but was abruptly replaced by Matt Damon in early March. The Clooney directed movie features an impressive cast that also includes Bill Murray, Jean Dujardin, John Goodman, and Cate Blanchett.
