Seann William Scott, Lindsay Frimodt End Their Engagement

Actor Seann William Scott has reportedly split from his fiancee after getting engaged last year.

The American Pie alum was all set to walk down the aisle with former Victoria’s Secret model Lindsay Frimodt. However, Us Weekly reports that the pair have decided to call it quits.

Although it appeared that their future was bright and promising, the relationship has apparently come to an abrupt end. The website explains that the couple decided to tie the proverbial knot after dating for around a year. The engagement reportedly took place on a picturesque beach on Valentine’s Day.

A representative for Scott said:

“They remain friends. It was a very amicable split.”

According to WENN, Seann William Scott has been linked to a number of attractive ladies over the years including Mad Men co-star January Jones and Jaime King. However, the actor seemed smitten with his fiancee during an interview last year.

Scott explained:

“I don’t how I got a girl like my fiancee. She hadn’t seen ‘American Pie,’ thank God. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t be engaged.”

The Cottage Grove, Minnesota native quickly shot to fame with the success of the raunchy high school comedy American Pie back in 1999. Scott followed up this box office hit with a host of other comedies including Road Trip; Dude, Where’s My Car?; and Evolution.

The actor has also tried his hand at a number of action flicks. Scott starred in directors Drew Daywalt and David Schneider heist flick Stark Raving Mad in 2002, while the Chow Yun Fat actioner Bulletproof Monk followed one year later. The actor also appeared alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the 2003 cult flick The Rundown.

Scott recently appeared in the star-studded comedy Movie 43, a film so offensive that producers had a hard time crafting a trailer suitable for all audiences.
