Creator Ryan Murphy Introduces Son Logan To The World

Taking a page straight out of his own series, The New Normal, creator and writer Ryan Murphy has decided to introduce his son to the world. This might be his best creation yet! Logan Phineas Miller Murphy, pictured below, was introduced to the world via Murphy’s Twitter account.

Murphy obviously had a lot to celebrate his new year with, and the decision to tell all of his followers was a huge one. “Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Logan is one week old and doing great. Happy new year!,” the 47-year-old tweeted to all of his followers. Murphy and husband David Miller, a photographer, were said to have welcomed their newborn on Christmas Eve.

According to Glee, American Horror Story, and The New Normal creator, Logan was born at 9:47 am, weighing in at 6 lbs, 6 oz, and 21 inches long. The biological mother of Murphy’s son hasn’t been revealed as of yet. However, back in October, Murphy was open to PEOPLE in discussing how his new adventure as a father will be, saying at the time: “I think I’ll be incredibly fun and overwhelmed and all about manners. I’m excited.”

Back in July, Ryan Murphy wed his longtime partner in Province town. The couple have been together for more than fifteen years. It was said that the couple celebrated their nuptials by going to see Patti Lupone at the Art House.

A big congratulations to Ryan and David!
