Lydia McLaughlin has rejoined The Real Housewives of Orange County cast for Season 12.
As fans of the Bravo TV reality series may recall, Lydia McLaughlin joined the cast during Season 8, but opted to walk away from her full-time role ahead of Season 12. Now, years later, McLaughlin has reunited with her co-stars for Season 12 and allegedly done her best to stay neutral amid their ongoing feuds.
That said, Lydia McLaughlin may have been forced to pick a side between Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge.
On July 7, All About the Real Housewives shared a report in regard to Lydia McLaughlin’s possible allies on the show, revealing that while she previously hinted that she was Team Tamra, she recently posted a photo of herself and Gunvalson on Instagram.
As the outlet explained, Lydia McLaughlin spoke of Tamra Judge during an interview with the Daily Mail months ago and told the outlet that she understands her and is always super sweet. McLaughlin also said that she loved Judge and noted they’ve never had any problems with one another.
“I feel like we’ll remain friends for a long time,” Lydia McLaughlin gushed.
A short time later, Tamra Judge had kind things to say about Lydia McLaughlin during an interview with Heather McDonald on her Juicy Scoop podcast. During the episode, Judge applauded McLaughlin’s Season 12 persona and said she wouldn’t disappoint.
Following the ladies’ interviews, Lydia McLaughlin stepped out with Vicki Gunvalson and shared a photo of the two of them on her Instagram page. In the photo, which was taken at the Irvine Spectrum Center, McLaughlin and Gunvalson posed cheek-to-cheek.
When Lydia McLaughlin quit her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Orange County after Season 8, she revealed that her faith kept her from moving forward with Season 9.
To see more of Lydia McLaughlin, Tamra Judge, and their co-stars, including Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, Meghan King Edmonds, Kelly Dodd, and Peggy Sulahian, tune into the upcoming premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County on Monday, July 10 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
