Morrissey Blames Royal Family For Nurse’s Suicide
Singer and former Smiths front man Morrissey is blaming Britain’s royal family for the recent suicide of Jacintha Saldanha, according to Rolling Stone.
Morrissey has been in a nasty and frequently hateful feud with the royal family for several years. In the wake of the nurse’s death, the singer has openly criticized Kate Middleton for visiting the hospital for what he feels was no good reason.
The musician said in a recent interview:
“There’s no blame placed at Kate Middelton who was in the hospital for, as far as I can see, absolutely no reason. She feels no shame about the death of this woman. She’s saying nothing about the death of this poor woman. The arrogance of the British royals is staggering, absolutely staggering; and why it’s allowed to be I don’t know.”
During his chat with the folks at 3News, Morrissey also speculated that the real reasons Kate Middleton visited the hospital are probably being kept from the prying eyes of the British public.
The singer added:
“Does she have a health condition? Is it anorexia or is it a pregnancy, we don’t know. Well what is the health condition, I mean morning sickness already? So much hoo-ha then suddenly [she is] as bright as a button?”
Over the summer, Morrissey took issue with the royal family once again during the 2012 London Olympic Games. In a letter to his fan club, the singer boldly compared Britain to Nazi Germany.
“The ‘dazzling royals’ have, quite naturally, hi-jacked the Olympics for their own empirical needs, and no oppositional voice is allowed in the free press,” Morrissey wrote in his letter. He added that the “spirit of 1939 Germany now pervades throughout media-brand Britain.”
The singer’s controversial antics may soon be drawing to a close. Morrissey intends to retire from music in around two years.
What do you think about Morrissey blaming Britain’s royal family for Jacintha Saldanha’s suicide?

I am scared to comment for fear of becoming a fatal statistic.
The full interview is excellent: http://www.3news.co.nz/Full-interview-with-Morrissey-in-Auckland/tabid/312/articleID/280047/Default.aspx?ref=vid_2012-11-22.

Hyperemesis is a serious and traumatic condition, rant about hating the royals as much as you want Morrissey but as women are losing their lives and babies to this condition do your research first! Your comment about a royal will affect women and families everywhere struggling to get through their pregnancies.

Hyperemesis is a very real condition and women and babies die if it is left untreated. This is trolling plain and simple. Morrissey's attempt to minimize this very real and deadly illness in order to win point in his ongoing fued with the royal family is not just sad and pathetic, but it has the potential to cause real and measurable harm to other women suffering from the same illness.

Couldn't agree more with Knocked up Knocked Over. Hyperemesis is nothing to laugh about and it certainly is not an eating disorder. Using this illness to attack the royal family does absolutely nothing to them but instead hurts those who have suffered from this illness (an illness that is already misunderstood and receives very little attention). I find his jabs at the very illness of Hyperemesis to be ignorant and blatantly wrong. Rant about the royals, but do not minimize the seriousness of this illness and the thousands of us who have survived it.

Morrisey, is now and always has been a complete and utter idiot, this is just another rant to try and keep him in the public eye, I hope he doesn't think that in two years when he gives up music (his excuse, not what I would call it) he will be missed.Good riddance to an untalented rubbish perfomer.

What a ridiculous idiot. As if pointing the finger would bring anybody back. And why ever he thought that he had to be the one to make such a misplaced public statement. Shame on the Rolling Stone for printing such garbage!
