‘Days Of Our Lives’ Comings And Goings: Eileen Davidson Returning To Salem But In What Role?
Days of Our Lives fans, it is a whole new world in Salem. Ron Carliveti is shaking things up on the set and getting the characters in place for the vision he has for the long-running soap opera. Fans of Days of Our Lives know that Vincent Irizarry is leaving the show. He has already left the set for the last time, but his final scenes should air later this month. Spoilers tell us that he will be the victim of a homicide that becomes a major whodunit in Salem. With the list of enemies Deimos has created, there are lots of possible killers with a motive.
Arianne Zucker having made a decision to leave Days of Our Lives. Fans have expressed their disappointment in losing Nicole Walker and blame the bad storylines her character has been plagued with over the years. To give her the ending she deserves, Zucker has agreed to continue filming through June which will put her final air date towards the end of the year.
On the other hand, it isn’t all bad news. Days of Our Lives fans will see the return of Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) and Chandler Massey (Will). William Utay (Dr. Rolf) will be involved and could be behind the resurrection of Will, who fans thought was a victim of the Necktie Killer. Of course, Dr. Rolf is a controversial character that was loyal to Stefano Dimera. Fans of Days of Our Lives will have to wait and see the dynamics around his return, but it will be intriguing according to all early reports.
There are rumors that EJ may return to Salem as well. James Scott had played the role that ended with his death. His sister Kristen (Eileen Davidson), under the direction of Stefano, gave EJ an injection while he was laying on the table in the morgue. That was never followed up on and could tie in with Dr. Rolf. Could Ron Carliveti be planning on bringing EJ back to Days of Our Lives? And can anyone besides James Scott pull the role off? EJ was a fan-fav and transitioning in a new actor to the role may be tough, according to fans on social media.

Kassi DePaiva is all set to return to Days of Our Lives in her role as Eve Donovan. She had taken some time off as she fought leukemia. There has been lots of rumors and speculation over her storyline. Some spoilers have her involved with Justin (Wally Kurth). The two definitely have chemistry, and neither is attached to anyone else at the moment. There is a chance that fans will see the two explore the possibility of a relationship.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Eileen Davidson (Kristen Dimera) will soon be returning to Days of Our Lives. She was last seen on the show in 2015 when it was assumed she had died in an accident. What we don’t know yet is the role she will be playing. Days of Our Lives has not confirmed that she will be portraying Kristen and in fact, are being tight-lipped on her role. What we do know is that Davidson will continue in her role as Ashley on Y&R but began taping for DOOL on June 5.
