Johnny Depp Movies: Orlando Bloom Defends His ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Costar
Johnny Depp has made his way into ongoing headlines for mainly negative reasons over the course of the past year. From his messy divorce from Amber Heard which resulted in allegations against the actor of domestic violence and the seeking of restraining orders by Heard to his financial woes being laid out on the table for the masses to be made aware of, Johnny is likely ready for some positive press.
The latest claims made by TMG, Johnny’s former management team whom he has filed a lawsuit against, involved Depp reportedly being fed his lines by way of an earpiece. The claim, as stated, comes after Depp had been accused of ridiculous spending habits that have left him with nearly nothing from his $600 million fortune.
It seems that Depp is ready to shrug off all of the negative press that has been haunting him and focus on his career. Since being named Hollywood’s most overpaid actor by Forbes, Depp was in need of a win at the box office. Fans are ready to head to theaters in droves to take in the latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jack Sparrow’s own costar has spoken out in defense of the iconic actor beneath the dreadlocks.

Orlando Bloom has shown support recently for Depp as Perez Hilton relays.
“The man that I know and love is the man who’s here tonight, and he’s like on form and does everything the right way. You know, people go through all kinds of weird stuff in the world and it’s just a shame that it has to be dragged out in public. Because, God knows he’s been one of the most private and stand-up people I’ve ever met.”
Depp, although very private about his dating life since his divorce from Amber Heard, is reportedly back out on the scene and dating once more. An insider shared words about Depp’s focus on the future and moving on in all regards since the tumultuous months finalizing his divorce.

The Daily Mail notes the words about the Black Mass star by the said source.
“He is taking work seriously and seems healthy. He spends time with his kids and is dating a bit. Heard, 31, filed for divorce in May 2016 and accused Depp of domestic abuse resulting in a nasty court battle last year. Depp eventually agreed to pay his ex a $7 million settlement. According to sources close to the Pirates of the Caribbean star he’s ‘doing much better. He’s more focused and happier.”
Recently, Depp actually did open up about a strange hookup he experienced in the past. When the actor visited Ellen, Depp was put in the hot seat about the strangest hookup he has ever had. It did not take Johnny long to come up with an answer involving an enclosed trunk, as the publication notes.
“During a sit-down on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, the 53-year-old actor was asked where the strangest place was that he has ever hooked up with a woman. The Pirates Of The Caribbean vet, who has reportedly recently started dating again following his bitter marriage split from Amber Heard, said: ‘Wow. A car trunk. The trunk of a car. Enclosed.'”
Despite a whole lot of bad press and a messy divorce, it’s clear that Depp is keeping his head up and focusing on moving forward. The star has a number of films lined up and just wrapped filming of Murder On The Orient Express. As for Depp’s ex, actress Amber Heard, the beauty has moved on and is now said to be dating billionaire Elon Musk. The two have been linked since last summer after Heard filed for divorce from Depp.
