Chinese ‘Sex Dungeon’ Operator Sentenced To Death

A former Chinese government employee who imprisoned woman inside his sex dungeon has been sentenced to death, according to Jezebel.

35-year-old Li Hao was convicted of murder, rape, organized prostitution, illegal detention, and spreading pornography for profit. For his crimes, he has been sentenced to death by Luoyang Intermediate People’s Court.

Reuters explains that Li kidnapped kidnapped women from nail saloons, nighclubs, and karaoke bars to keep inside a sex dungeon of his own design. He repeatedly raped and tortured the women until a 23-year-old victim escaped and contacted authorities. Unfortunately, two of the employees were dead by the time police arrived on the scene.

According to AsiaOne, Li didn’t stop at raping, torturing, and humiliating his victims for his own sick pleasures. Reports indicate that the man also kept the women as sex slaves, often forcing them into prostitution. Li also made the women star in a number of pornographic videos and sex shows he uploaded to the internet.

One of the more disturbing elements of his hideous story is that Li later forced three of the women to murder two of the other captives. The trio was found guilty of murder, though they were given a reduced sentence due to the circumstances surrounding the crime.

Business Insider explains that Li dug the sex dungeon himself. Some of the woman he kept locked away from the world were detained for as long as 21 months.

Guo Congbin, director of the public security bureau in Luoyang, apologized to citizens for not locating the woman and the sex dungeon sooner. He explained that patrol officers weren’t doing their jobs and some employees had “lost their sense of responsibility.”

“I beg the people of Luoyang to give us another chance. We will show you the results of our actions,” Guo said, adding that several police officers had been suspended for their “ineffectiveness.”
