Katie Holmes Discusses Married Life With Tom Cruise

Katie Holmes is reportedly dating Jamie Foxx. However, before she got linked with him or Joshua Jackson, the Dawson’s Creek actress was madly in love with Tom Cruise.

Tom and Katie’s married life has always remained the talk of tinsel town. The Jerry Maguire star famously confirmed his love for the actress to Oprah Winfrey on her talk show.

Even Katie was very vocal about her feelings for Tom Cruise. During her interview with W Magazine, she talked about her first meeting with the star and how she instantly fell in love with him.

“I’ve found the man of my dreams,” said then-26-year-old actress. “From the moment I met him, it just felt like I’d known him forever. I was blown away. He’s the most incredible man. He’s so generous and kind, and he helps so many people, and, um, he makes me laugh like I’ve never laughed, and he’s a great friend.”

She further revealed that Tom was not a rebound after her fallout with Chris Klein. The Batman Begins star stated that she and Tom are always going to be in their “honeymoon” phase.

“Tom is the most incredible man in the world. Meeting Tom—I’m just exhilarated. He makes me laugh, we have fun, we understand each other, everything is so aligned. I feel so lucky and so—like I’ve been given such a gift, such a gift, you know?”

However, after six years of marriage, it was announced that Holmes had filed for divorce and for full custody of Suri.

A lot has been said about their courtship and married life, but the announcement of their divorce broke the hearts of many of their fans.

The actress has indeed endured a lot over the years. However, despite all the heartache and hardships that Katie has faced in her personal life, she has always kept a positive approach towards everything.

During her conversation with Ocean Drive, she revealed that she does not regret any of her past actions and that everything in her life has taught her something.

“I don’t really regret anything that I’ve done. I’ve learned from everything, and everything sort of leads you to the next place. I just keep going.”

According to Hollywood Life, the “anything” she mentioned during her talk includes her high-profile relationship with the Mission: Impossible star and their official split in 2012.

As of now, Page Six recently reported that Katie is currently involved with Jamie Foxx. Prior to this, there were reports that the Django Unchained actor was afraid to move forward with their relationship, so he decided to part his ways from Katie.

“Jamie wants to continue to act like the carefree guy he is in public. Eventually, the question had to come about whether he was committed enough to the relationship,” read an earlier report.

But the recent development in Holmes’ personal life indicates that she is actually very happy with Foxx. An insider revealed to Page Six that the rumored couple are back together after a dispute.

“The actress’ inner circle is thrilled,” confirmed the sources.

Meanwhile, Katie recently shared a photo on Instagram of herself at age 6 cheering on her sister’s basketball team. The uploaded picture made many believe that the young Suri looks exactly like her mother.
