According to the New York Post‘s latest round of Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers, breakout star Cardi B (real name: Belcalis Almanzar) revealed that she only recently stopped stripping because she was concerned that her career trajectory wasn’t going to go the way she planned.

“My manager told me I had to quit dancing but I did not want to quit. What if my career don’t pop? I will just end up back in the strip club and people would laugh at me.”

Meanwhile, according to the latest Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers revealed by XXL Magazine, Juelz Santana, a rapper best known for his work with the legendary New York hip hop collective The Diplomats (also known as Dipset), recently confronted his baby mama & longtime girlfriend, Kimbella, because he gave up his career to be more of a “stay at home dad” for his family. Juelz insisted with Kimbella that he needs to get back in the public eye and do what he does best, but Kimbella doesn’t want him to because of her past issues with him being unfaithful.

However, Kimbella didn’t voice her opinions publicly to Juelz until he revealed that he wanted to work with Yandy, who previously had a falling out with his former Dipset crew member Jim Jones. That’s when Kimbella demanded that Yandy reach out to her and patch things up because Kimbella and Yandy also had a falling out last season before she decided to work with Juelz. We’re not sure what sort of difference that’s going to make, but you can’t blame the girl for trying.

Incidentally, Juelz released a freestyle called “Up In The Studio Gettin’ Blown” on the same day that Love and Hip Hop: New York had its season premiere.

This, of course, brings up the old simmering tensions between the former members of The Diplomats, which is sure to be explored this season, as the latest Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers from the VH1 blog reveal.

Fans of the show who aren’t familiar with their hip hop history may not be aware of what caused the fallout between The Diplomats in the first place, but as VH1 revealed, many of the issues came as a result of Dipset capo Cam’ron having a beef with his label boss, Jay-Z. At the time that their legendary studio album, Diplomatic Immunity, was released, they were on the Roc-a-Fella label. However, tensions with Mr. Beyonce Knowles caused the rappers to jump ship to a new label in 2007.

Shortly after they switched labels in 2007, Juelz and Jim Jones released a single with 50 Cent. This caused irreparable tensions in the group as Killa Cam was beefing with 50 Cent at the time. This, ultimately, caused the demise of The Diplomats, and hip hop hasn’t been the same since.
