O.J. Simpson Reportedly Trying to Sell Knife He Allegedly Used To Kill Wife

O.J. Simpson is reportedly trying to sell the knife that he allegedly used to kill his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Simpson was accused of murdering his wife and Goldman on June 12, 1994. The former running back was found not guilty, but several people still believe that the former running back was responsible for the murder. CBS reports that Simpson was later found guilty for “wrongful death” and ordered to pay $33 million to the families of the victims.
The National Enquirer reports that Simpson, who is currently in jail for armed robbery, is now trying to sell the alleged murder weapon for $5 million. The Enquirer reports that Simpson secretly kept the knife after the murder and will reveal its location for a minimum of $5 million.
The story hasn’t been substantiated yet.
An Enquirer source said:
“[O.J. is] looking for a strictly cash deal so that the money can be deposited in offshore accounts and can’t be traced directly to him. O.J. said he’d reveal the location once a firm deal — for a minimum of $5 million — was reached.”
The source added:
“It’s not just about the money. O.J. will get sick satisfaction from putting one over on the cops and Ron Goldman’s family. He’d love to think he’s outsmarted them.”
Do you think O.J. Simpson is really trying to sell the murder knife?
There are several parts of this story that just don’t ring true.
- The missing knife was one of the major reasons that Simpson was found not guilty. If he has the knife, it implies that he actually did kill his wife.
- It’s unlikely that Simpson would have been able to hide the knife from police.
- Simpson is currently in prison. How is he going to make a $5 million knife sale?
- It’s O.J. Simpson. He’s exploited the murder for money in the past. Last year he wrote a book called I Did It which gave a hypothetical account of what would have taken place if he had committed the murders.
Simpson won’t be a free man until 2017. Do you think he’ll leave prison with $5 million sitting in his bank account?

The book was called "If I did it" get it right! but he did it he's not stupid.
Oct 19, 2012
This is why D.J. should apply to every case it allows people like this to get away with their crimes forever.

I pray this is untrue. And if so will delight in the fact that this monster will rot in hell.

The NOT GUILTY just goes to show & prove what u can get away with …with enough money! Hell yes he did it all of America knows it!
Oct 19, 2012
Why would something like this be in his possession? Don't police KEEP all evidence gathered in a case such as this?
Oct 19, 2012
Here's a quick question – why would he write a book "If I did It", and propose how he would have killed them, had he done it – if he wasn't guilty? If he was a decent person, he would never have been able to even CONSIDER writing that book – but he's since proven he's not decent, because of his actions that led him to being put behind bars. Truly a sad thing, because he was SUCH a role model for kids when I was younger. I sincerely hope that no one (except law enforcement) offers the money he's asking for the knife.
Oct 19, 2012
WHAT A DAMN FOOL! WE KNOW HE KILLED THEM, BUT TO TRY AND SELL A KNIFE. THAT HE USED TO DO IT IS THE STUPIDEST THING HES DONE! GOOD LUCK ON THIS ONE OJ!
Oct 19, 2012
Hes guilty but money, buys judges so the only judge he can't buy 4money is god so watch it oj nothin last 4ever,, especially that god dont like ugly
Oct 19, 2012
It has been so long…did they find a weapon? I can't remember. I am not so sure about the story but I am pretty sure about the amount that I loathe him.
Oct 19, 2012
The murder weapon was never found. One of the stupid reasons he was found not guilty.
Oct 19, 2012
Money talks ! Robert Blake killed his wife and got off!! Sad but karma will get ya!!
Oct 19, 2012
This guy is such a dirt bag…he is a true example of what is wrong with this world…
Oct 19, 2012
He was aquitted, never said "not guilty" yes, there is a difference
Oct 19, 2012
He can be tried again.Double jeopardy can happen if " new, compelling and substantial evidence is found" he would not let the knife be found
Oct 19, 2012
If he was smart HELL NO!, if he was successful in hiding the knife bring it up could reopen the case…
Oct 19, 2012
This sounds like complete bullsht. Also, there are more than "several" people who still believe him to be guilty.
Oct 19, 2012
Sure wish he would never get out of jail.He is still a creep.
Oct 19, 2012
Wouldnt that just b Double Jeopardy?
Oct 19, 2012
OJ Simspon is a Freak……..He actually thought that he could get by with all the stuff that he's done, but eventually it will come back to bite him. Although he could persuade someone for a Presidential Parden………..Good Grief…I actually think that Law should be changed from Double Jepordy to can be charged again if the evidence applies…..
Oct 19, 2012
To my understanding no. Cases get reopened all the time when new DNA evidence and things of the sort come to light years later. Granted I'm not a prosecutor so I'm mainly basing this off of what I read in the news and see on Law&Order
Oct 19, 2012
Margaret, they never found the knife, that is how he got off. They just said that in the article above as well. He unfortunately knows what he's doing, he could even be lying about the knife to get $, he could say any knife was the murder weapon, whether it really is or not, only he knows for sure. He is just a disgusting human being, & the people that keep buying into his crap (literally even) are unfortunately helping to keep it going & keep him rich. Disgusting.

Considering the sketchy source, if true, it is once again a swift punch in the gut for the Goldmans' and the Browns' who lost a son and a daughter. First with the the book,"If I Did It", and its 'hypothetical' account of how he murdered the couple, and now this appalling sale of a gruesome device and exploitation of two lost lives. It shows how this man has gotten away with indirectly profiting from his crimes, via publishing deals and the sale of memorabilia, and how he thinks that his legacy is still that awe inspiring that this time we will gladly run to the counter and drop 5 million dollars.

Oct 19, 2012
What a source; The National Enquirer? What? Are you guys that hard up for news? Come and visit me and my wife Bonnie and (oh, I forgot, your government censored) as you were!
Oct 19, 2012
Truly why does anyone care anymore. What happened happened he was proven not guilty although we all know he was. It is not like he is the only one to get away with murder. He should never be aloud to make any money off of anything that has to do with this subject. If and what money is made from all this bullshit it should be given to charities such as, crime against women and women shelters. And homeless shelters not him. He is a scum bag he knows it and only he needs to answer to God. But I am sure he will be going to Hell and then he will need to prove to God that he is worthy of heaven and only God will then give his final answer.
Oct 19, 2012
No
Oj Simpson could call LAPD and describe in detail how he committed the murders, and they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. He cannot be tried for the same crime twice, nor can any of the evidence be used again.
Oct 19, 2012
Well only the victims and the killer know who did it. If its not him, it could be the real killer making it seem like OJ if the money would go to off shore account. That book did seem like a confession because what innocent person would write about something they didn't do?
Oct 19, 2012
"Reported" and "allegedly"? Way to take a definite stand.
Oct 19, 2012
SICK
Oct 19, 2012
He's already doing time wtf would it matter yes in my heart he s guilty and Kato probably helped yes sure he has knife also
Oct 19, 2012
And robert is still living without paying the price.
Oct 19, 2012
Sociopath!
Oct 19, 2012
When they read the verdicts they said not guilty, not innocent. And he can not be tried again because of double jeopardy. He did it,.his luck ran out.
Oct 19, 2012
??? Lol
Oct 19, 2012
They should put OJ, Scott Peterson and Casey Anthony together. All three did it!
Oct 20, 2012
Yes, I beleive he is smart enough to have the knife hid somewhere! And at the same time arrogant and stupid enough to try to sell it….couldn'tthe FBi or someone set the deal up to buy the knife and then bust him for actual MURDER?
Oct 20, 2012
this is a really stupid story. I cant believe anyone would consider it legit. Morons.
Oct 20, 2012
Oj the knife will be worth much more if you turn it on yourself! You are a piece of shit
Oct 20, 2012
he can not if he comes out an says i did it they can't do nothing to him he was found not guilty .
Oct 20, 2012
There is no Statute of limitations on murder, the familys could appeal the on the basis of new found evidence.
Oct 20, 2012
There is a law it is called double jeopardy if you are found not guilty you can not be charged again for the same crime.
Oct 20, 2012
Double Jeopardy is when your charged with a crime you DIDN"T commit, and you commit that crime at a later time…..you would have already served your time, right now he's serving for wrongful death not murder i'm sure they would give him that time served if he's found guilty later of murder…
Oct 20, 2012
I'm sorry he didn't serve time for the wrongful death only paid some kind of restitution, if i'm reading that right…yeah it says he's in jail for armed robbery…so it sounds like he hasn't served any time over the case
Oct 20, 2012
Wikipedia, say's that it would have to have been a LEGTIMATE acquittal or conviction
Oct 20, 2012
It was a legtimate acquittal a jury of his peers found him not guilty.
Oct 20, 2012
O.J. is a loser, he got away with murder, but he has to meet his maker one day and it will be all over for him..
Oct 20, 2012
o.j. , a big JERK , with a big ego , suffer ………………
Oct 20, 2012
Die OJ.
Oct 25, 2012
The glove didn't fit!*waits*.
Oct 27, 2012
well of course LAPD couldn't i think that would be left up to the DA's office
but on the real. . . . people get proven innocent years later with DNA evidence that wasn't available at the time. . .is it only a one way street?. . . . well just did a lil research. . .i guess they would be able to get him with lying under oath, obstruction and littering. . . i think that is a lil crazy though. . .
Oct 27, 2012
from what i have read it seems to be a gray area. . .though written as black and white, you can't be charged with the same crime or one similar. . . ie if you were acquitted for 1st degree you couldn't later be charged for 2nd degree. . .but it seems there have been cases where this has been forgotten.. . up to the judge i guess

he can be charged with lying under oath but tht would be a new charge completely. He couldnt be tried for murder again. Seperate soverigns is usually appleid to civil servants i.e.: cops, Govt workers….not usually for citizens
Oct 27, 2012
he can be charged with lying under oath but tht would be a new charge completely. He couldnt be tried for murder again. Seperate soverigns is usually appleid to civil rights cases and cases having to do with crimes committed by civil servants IE: Cops. Seperate sovereigns was used to retry a few of the officers that beat Rodney King, but its typically not used by the state or federal govts to circumvent the double jeopardy clause
OJ Simpson was acquitted, and so trying him for the murder of his ex-wife would go nowhere. Double Jeopardy went in to effect as soon as the jury brought the decision.
Nov 6, 2012
It would certainly not surprise me if he was. He is a murderer. He is crazed. He was also on drugs. He was used to doing whatever he wanted to do, and GETTING AWAY WITH IT! I can't stand the bastard. I reallly feel sorry for his kids, too.
