Taylor Swift Writing Calvin Harris Diss Track Amid Drake Dating Rumors?

Taylor Swift may be crushing on Drake right now but that doesn’t mean she’s forgotten about her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris.

According to new reports, the singer could potentially end up writing a diss track about the music producer, who somewhat took shots at Swift with the release of his latest music video, “My Way,” which the DJ is said to have dedicated to Taylor when he penned it over the summer, E! Online claims.

The song, which is already climbing the charts, hasn’t sat well with Taylor, considering the fact that the issues the twosome had between one another had been settled, but it seems clear to Swift that Calvin is planning to market his new music off the breakup.

Harris has found himself making endless headlines in the past couple of months, and the fact that he’s releasing music at the same time has drawn quite the interest for some of his latest songs, including “This Is What You Came For,” which has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.

While Taylor Swift has remained quiet for the most part, sources close to Hollywood Life allege that she will end up having the last laugh once her new album drops sometime next year, with current plans to write her own track about Calvin, and it’s not going to be sweet.

“The expiration date of Taylor caring what Calvin does is coming up,” a source tells the outlet. “She is not really worried about any shade from Calvin because she might return the favor in a future video and or song herself. This is just a part of the game and she is OK that Calvin is playing it.”

The supposed fact that Taylor Swift is writing a song about Calvin shouldn’t really come as a surprise to fans, considering that this particular move from the singer is what has made her famous.

Swift has penned songs about John Mayer, Harry Styles, and even Jake Gyllenhaal — Calvin Harris is sure to be next to experience what it’s like to be dissed on a track in a not-so-subtle way, in what could potentially become the song of the summer.

It’s being alleged that Taylor is gearing up to return to the studio, as her record label is preparing for an album release sometime next year.

And if that wasn’t enough, Swift is also said to be working with rapper Drake on the forthcoming record, whom she partied with at the Canadian star’s 30th birthday bash in West Hollywood this past week.

Several news outlets were under the impression that the two are dating, after Drake made the decision to introduce Taylor Swift to his mother, Sandi. An insider alleged that Taylor was definitely flirting with Drake throughout the night, but nothing ever resulted into anything more than that.

Of course, that shouldn’t rule out that Taylor Swift may still end up hooking up with Drake, but for now, however, the twosome are said to be nothing more than close pals.

News of Taylor Swift working on new music in time for her next album comes just months after the singer found herself feuding with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for leaking an audio tape that became the vital evidence to her initial claims she was never aware of the rapper’s song, “Famous,” where Kanye infamously refers to Swift as a “b**ch.”
